Physician-assisted weight loss that lasts

Semaglutide and tirzepatide programs, dosed and monitored by a physician — with labs, check-ins, and a plan built around your metabolism, not a one-size-fits-all protocol.

GLP-1 medications like semaglutide (Ozempic) and tirzepatide (Mounjaro) have changed what's possible in weight loss — but they work best under a physician who manages your dose, monitors your labs, and adjusts as your body responds. That's exactly how our program works.

A medically supervised program, not a prescription mill

Anyone can hand out a prescription. What makes weight loss stick is the medical oversight around it: a baseline evaluation, appropriate lab work, careful dose titration to minimize side effects, and regular check-ins to keep you on track. Dr. Pattem — Palm Beach's 2024 Top Doctor — personally manages your program.

We treat weight as the medical issue it is, connected to your blood sugar, blood pressure, cholesterol, sleep, and energy. As the weight comes off, we monitor those markers too.

Is it right for you?

GLP-1 therapy is appropriate for many adults carrying extra weight, especially alongside conditions like prediabetes, type 2 diabetes, or metabolic syndrome. The only way to know if it's right for you is a medical evaluation — we'll review your history, discuss your goals, and be honest about what to expect.

How it works

Simple from first call to follow-up.

1

Medical evaluation

We review your history, order baseline labs, and confirm whether GLP-1 therapy is a safe fit for you.

2

Start and titrate

You begin at a low dose and we increase it gradually — the key to results with minimal side effects.

3

Check in and adjust

Every two weeks we review your progress, manage any side effects, and fine-tune your plan.

Frequently asked questions

What's the difference between semaglutide and tirzepatide?
Both are GLP-1 based medications that reduce appetite and improve blood sugar. Tirzepatide targets an additional receptor (GIP) and tends to produce greater average weight loss, but the right choice depends on your health profile, response, and tolerance. Dr. Pattem will recommend the best option for you.
How much weight will I lose?
Results vary by individual, starting weight, dose, and consistency. In clinical use, patients on these medications commonly lose a significant percentage of body weight over several months. We set realistic goals together and track progress at every visit.
Are there side effects?
The most common side effects are mild and digestive — nausea, reduced appetite, occasional GI upset — and usually improve as your body adjusts. Careful, gradual dose titration is how we keep them minimal, which is one reason physician supervision matters.
Do I have to stay on it forever?
No. We build a maintenance and nutrition plan so you can transition off medication when appropriate while protecting your results. Every plan is individualized.
